- Photography RestrictionsPhotography and videography are strictly prohibited inside the main palace building (Selamlık and Harem).
- Accessibility & StrollersDue to historical preservation, large strollers are not permitted inside. Wheelchair access is available for the ground floor only.
- Last AdmissionThe palace closes at 17:00 and the last admission is an hour before that, at 16:00. Arriving later than 16:00 means being turned away, whatever the ticket says. The palace is closed on Mondays.
- Audio Guide DepositThe audio-guide device is included, but it is handed out against a passport or ID left as a deposit and returned when you bring the device back. Children aged 0–6 enter free on presentation of the child’s passport; without it, a standard ticket must be bought.
- Security CheckAll visitors must undergo a mandatory security screening before entering the premises. Expect airport-style X-ray checks. Large bags, backpacks, and professional camera equipment are not allowed and must be left at the cloakroom.
